To move around the island, you can take a taxi or use the monorail. The monorail station is situated at the base of a palm tree, and offers a great view of the island. The monorail train runs every 20 minutes.
Palm Jumeirah has a well-developed infrastructure, where you can find two shopping malls – Nakheel Mall and the Golden Mile Galleria. Besides malls, there are numerous grocery stores like Spinneys, Choithrams, and Allday Fresh. The island is also full of various cafes, restaurants, and fine dining options, such as KYO, Ossiano, Rue Royale, or Chuan, just to name a few.
There is also a wide range of medical facilities, including Emirates Hospitals Clinic, Al Das Medical Clinic, and Slimpro. Families with children will appreciate the many nurseries located on the island, like Redwood Montessori Nursery, Asya’s Nursery, and Blossom Palm Jumeirah Nursery.

ENTERTAINMENT

Most of the attractions of Palm Jumeirah are concentrated on the territory of the Atlantis the Palm, which is famous for its restaurants by star chefs, including Nobu Matsuhisa, Giorgio Locatelli, and Gordon Ramsay. There is also the Aquaventure Water Park where guests can swim with dolphins and ride the water slide through the shark lagoon. Moreover, one can visit the famous Lost Chambers Aquarium and the on-site dolphinarium. The complex also provides an opportunity for hotel guests and visitors to experience the hotel spa and go diving. For those wishing to go all out, one can hire a helicopter and enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the stunning island.

Spend a day by the pool at the Riva Beach Club or WET Deck in W Dubai, or visit one of the private beaches at any of the hotels. To do this, you will need to purchase a beach day pass, which provides access to all the hotel’s outdoor facilities. Additionally, one can take a yacht trip along the island, enjoy a speedboat ride, or try wakeboarding. The island is also perfect for kayaking and paddleboarding too.

Palm Jumeirah is home to Nakheel Mall, Golden Mile Galleria and The Pointe Shopping and Entertainment Complex, which all have retail stores, restaurants, cinemas and much more. The 1.5-km pedestrian zone near The Pointe offers excellent views of Atlantis Resort.
The new Palm West Beach with a 1.6-kilometer-long beachfront opened to the public in October 2020 and has already been named `the best place to meet the sunset`. The walking and running paths are lined with 300 illuminated palm trees that create a pleasant shade over holiday makers in the hot sun, and light up the whole area during the evening. Dining options on Palm West Beach include the Bali Beach Restaurant and Koko Bay Bar.
Branches of the famous fast-food restaurants, Jones The Grocer, Aprons and Hammers, Lucky Fish, Señor Pico, Orange Chameleon, and others are scattered along the shoreline as well. The new beach serves eight 5-star resorts on the island, including Fairmont The Palm and FIVE Palm Jumeirah Dubai. There area also houses several hotels and residential complexes, such as SOHO Palm Jumeirah, Adagio Aparthotel, Byblos, Hilton Palm Jumeirah, and One Palm.

A beach wouldn’t be a beach without watersports, among those available on the beach are kayaking, diving and SUP-board riding. Here one can also rent catamarans, jet skis and equipment for electro surfing.

ECONOMIC ATTRACTIVENESS

Regardless of the dynamics of other segments of the Dubai real estate market, the artificial island of Palm Jumeirah is always popular among investors with a high level of income. Over the past two years, the number of luxury real estate transactions with an average value of more than AED 10,000,000 (USD 2,723,000) has increased significantly, and on The Palm Jumeirah – even doubled.
The attractiveness of housing on the island has also increased due to the opening of the long-awaited Nakheel Mall, which cost the master developer AED 1,200,000,000 (USD 327,000,000). Now the 78,000 residents of the island and even more of its visiting guests will be able to enjoy the unsurpassed benefits of this modern universal center of attraction.
If you want to buy real estate in the upper or middle price segments and get the maximum possible profit from renting, you should choose the areas which are in constant high demand from tourists and tenants, and Palm Jumeirah is quite possibly the best choice.
